Happy 1 year and a day Charlie Southern!

Hey ya'll,

So if you have been hanging out and following along you should know that I am obsessed with a boutique called RiffRaff! I absolutely love their Piko tops! They are the softest shirts I am ever worn! You can dress them up or down. Read more on my review of my Piko tops HERE.

I recently went back to San Marcos for my Little's initiation. This is not a Piko dress exactly but it is made from the same material! It is called the "All Day Everyday Dress". It comes in Royal Blue, Navy, Mustard, Charcoal, Burgundy (pictured), and Black. Also an easy item to dress up with heels or dress down with boots!

My newest obsession is the Charlie Southern collection created by the owner of RiffRaff. If you would like to know more of how the company began you can read about it here on Kirsten's blog! Yesterday they just celebrated the 1 year birthday of the company! They carry 3 collections: Dixie Love, State Love, and Greek Love!

As you can see my favorite collection is the Dixie Love! Its easy to throw on one of these soft tees and be ready for the day! Plans for 2015.

Hey Y'all,

If you have been sticking around lately, you may know that I have made some changes in my life. I will be in a new career field, a new town, and a new home. My friends and family may have been a tad surprise when I sprang my life choices across social media BUT, sometimes thats all it takes. By just throwing it out there, it really gave me a chance to stand firm to my new choices.

I am extremely excited for 2015 because of all that is in store. I have a ton of plans such as, I am moving to College Station, I will be running in the Dallas Rock'n'Roll Half Marathon, I will continue to serve on a Houston Rodeo Committee, my good friend Parker will be returning from Afghanistan, I am going to be turning 21 years old, and making many more memories with the wonderful people I share this life with.

A question I have gotten from a lot of people is "what are your new years resolutions?" WOW. ugh.
I hate these things because every year I set myself up for failure. I make big goals and never stick to them. This year I have one simple resolution: Return to my roots.

Now, this does not mean that I will be moving back to my birth place, the wonderful state of Mississippi. It simply means that I will be returning back to my place of happiness. I find JOY in the LITTLE THINGS. Life use to give me the biggest smile. A sunny day and a drive down a back road was my favorite part of the day. A bible verse a day kept the worries at bay. But, most importantly, I never questioned people and their choices. I simply didn't care what anyone thought of me. 2014 was one of the hardest years for me, one that I pray to never repeat. I hope that in 2015 I can return to my happiness. I hope that the changes I have made will bring the JOY back to my LIFE.

With all this, there will be changes to the blog. I am still the fashion-loving southern girl that I have always been. But, I want to make the blog more personal and relatable. I would still include my fashion, DIYs, fitness, and lifestyle tips. Now we will be adding in more of the at home southern style that my life truly represents.

Change.

First off, I'm sorry I did not come back to blogging as I planned. This semester has been a lot more than I planned. So lets update on everything!! 

1. I moved into my little apartment.  

2. We had a fabulous recruitment for Chi Omega and landed 79 new beautiful members. 

3. We had big/little reveal and I gained the perfect little bit to add to our family!

4. I was a hunter and my little one was a deer for halloween!

5. I have decided to make some changes for this upcoming year.  

I owe you all a huge apology for the time I have kept to myself and not shared my semester with you. Things just kept coming up and soon I was piled in a mess of crazy. With that being said, I have made some crazy changes. I have changed my major to Business focusing on Finance with a minor in Fashion Merchandising. Not sure where this will take me but I am putting full faith in God. I am also moving but not sure where I am going yet. This semester has been a huge learning process for me. I am finally excepting that fact that God needed me in a new place and he was determined to put me there. Now, I am back! I will continue with my "Who's That?" segment and my weekday blogs. I have finals this week but I am trying to get my schedule back in order. Thank you for sticking around and prayers for this week are always welcome. I love each and everyone of you. Let's take 2015 head on and make it the best year yet!
