DIY: Fall Into Wreath Season!

Hey y'all!

I have been dying to add to my beautiful Pinspiration Porch set up! I am absolutely in love with the way it has turned out! Its the perfect spot to have a drink with a friend, especially at sunset. After a while my door just seemed bare and I wanted a fall type wreath to complete the entire look. I knew I didn't want to put my apartment number on there because I won't be living in this one bedroom forever (I hope...)! So, I decided to hot glue a wooden "S". We all know how much I love my monograms! I bought the wooden S and the wreath at hobby lobby, with the 40% off coupon it was around 4$ (a steal in my opinion). Then I bought some mum flowers and a basic bundle of little white flowers at the dollar store. I used ribbon that was left over from another project and stuck a upside down command hook to hang it. A hot glue gun will be your new best friend through this entire project. All together it was very easy to make. Another option is to do your house number or your roommates initials! You can also make them holiday themed. I like how to color scheme fit with my porch decorations, very bright and fun! Click here to see the another easy way to hang your wreath without damaging your door!

HOW TO: (21st Birthday) Bar Cart!

Hey y'all!

Today, for my 21st birthday, I want to share with y'all my BAR CART!! For starters, you can use anything for a bar. It can be a coffee bar, a tea bar, a breakfast bar, or a candy bar! It does not have to be a a fancy cart either but, if you do want a cute little rolling cart I suggest this one and you can spray paint the metal any color you want! I used a bookshelf that my dad built me a few years ago. It was a originally brown and I painted it white to match my apartment decor better. All of the gold items are spray painted (tray, straw cup, top to cork jar, and wine rack)! The glasses are fun souvenirs I have collected over time and the frames all came from the dollar store. I created the prints on a word document and printed them out to be framed. All of the other fun decorations are from T.J. Maxx and the Dollar Store! I love the way it turned out - very pretty, classy, and GOLD!

Use your imagination! There is not right or wrong way to do it. So make it your own and add pretty things that you love! Now, I am off to have a fabulous birthday!

Sadie Lee

Pinspiration Porch

Hey y'all!

First day of Junior year was a success! I have been settling into my college apartment again. Which is basically code for redecorating. I saw this photo on pinterest 2 years ago before I was even out of my parents house and couldn't get out of my mind! I absolutely loved it! I wanted my own little porch setting that could be similar without breaking the bank. I live on the second floor and I have a front porch instead of a back porch. I found my chairs at Lowes for about 17$ apiece. At the beginning of summer, I originally wanted the coral color but by August they only had blue and green left. I found a table from target that was about 75$ and that was just too much for my college budget. So my dad made this one for me from leftover wood he had in his shop and it was the perfect size! My lights around the railing came from Target from their after christmas sale for about 3$ a box. I love my entire setup and it barely cost me anything!
